Twitter Locking Up

Hey Gang,

I just passed the 2000 mark for me following others on Twitter, and like you said it locked up and won't allow me to follow anymore(BTW- I am only at 700 followers). Would a possible solution to the problem of being "locked" at 2000(and not wanting to slow down my momentum) be....get more than one account and add another 2000 to each of those?

The only drawback I see w/ multiple accts. is , some would get duplicate tweets, because they ended up following more than one of my accounts. But would that really matter in the grand scheme of things?

Also, a way to work through the 2000 block barrier, I remember hearing on the call to look for Direct Messages and then delete the ones that you can not Direct Message back. Did I say that right? So, am I suppose to be looking in followers or in the following catagory to do this?

Another question; should you follow the ones that are in your "followers" (I mean all the ones that DON'T have that green checkmark next to them)?

Alright, last one, I promise...I've got like over 200 direct messages like overnight. What should I be doing with these? Should I be going through all of these and dm eachone back? Or.....?

Hi there

just thought I would help a little with twitter.

the 2000 limit is when the 10% rule comes into effect, where you can only follow 10% more than people following you. there for you will need 1800 followers before you can follow more than 2000 people.

you can use this site to see who is following you and who isnt and then get rid of those not following you.
